Meet The Broadways
We are Jacob and Michelle Broadway. We sell fabric and sewing supplies out of our home in Northeast Louisiana. In 2013, we opened an Etsy shop selling handmade baby accessories and bedding, and after two years of sewing, our focus shifted to solely selling fabric. It is a dream of ours to own a successful business, but we are even more blessed to run it at our home. We truly are a family business! Our young children understand the hard work that goes into the day to day of running the fabric shop, and we can only hope that one day they will pursue their dreams too.
In the summer of 2020, we outgrew the room in our house that housed all of our fabric inventory and where all of the shipping took place. We desperately needed more room! So, we purchased a portable building and placed it on our property just across our driveway. The fabric shop was finally out of the house! After finishing out our new building with insulation, electrical work, flooring, walls, painting and shelves it was time to move in and get to work. But it didn't take long for us to realize we needed even more room, so within 3 months, we purchased ANOTHER building. Yes, another building! When the new building arrived, it was placed right next to our current shop and we cut through both ends to connect them together to make one big shop. We absolutely love our shop today and are so grateful for all the extra room.
We couldn't have gotten this far in our business without our wonderful customers. Many of you have even supported us all the way back from the Etsy days.
We appreciate all of our amazing customers and so proud to be apart of this wonderful community of makers!
Broadway Fabrics continues to grow, and we can't wait to see what's in store next for our business.
